We have bitten the bullet

Well biting the bullet still has risks. The airfare is now rebooked for Jan 9th. The remaining test to be completed is scheduled for Jan 7th. So all things being good that will allow us to get the all-clear on Jan 8th, travel on the 9th.

The flight had to be rebooked now as the prices keep going up the closer to the date. The flight on the 2nd has already gone up so the decision was made to buy now.

Our return is delayed

Mexico 2020

With our plans for 2020 established in 2019, same landlord same place and same length of time we were prepared to return to "A Winter of Content".

BUT, plans went awry, during Doreen's, routine eye exam a problem was spotted by the optometrist and she was referred for tests. Tests have delayed the takeoff date and now we are hoping to leave January 2nd instead of December 12th. Good News the tests so far show that she is stable and has no change in her health (very good).

So the process of delay has begun. The landlord contacted and she has no  problem us arriving late. The airfare was cancelled with us only having to pay a small cancellation fee. But we now find ourselves having to deal with Christmas arrangements.
